At this point I’ve cut about 15 pounds of metal off the bike, soaked everything in degreaser and welded any cracks. As the bike is 35 years old….just about everything is dented. So, I start with the bondo. I cut out the mid section that housed the battery and all of the electronics, so I fabricated up a battery shelf. The remaining electronics will be mounted under the tail.
